This policy explains how VoiceBridge uses cookies and similar technologies.

1. Do We Use Cookies?

VoiceBridge does not use traditional browser cookies. We do not set any cookies on your device.

2. What We Use Instead

We use sessionStorage, a browser feature that temporarily stores small amounts of data during your browsing session. Specifically:

  • Display name — so you don't have to re-enter it when joining another call or room
  • Language preference — so your selected language is remembered

This data is automatically deleted when you close your browser tab. It is never sent to our servers or shared with third parties.

3. No Tracking

We do not use:

  • Google Analytics or any analytics tools
  • Facebook Pixel or advertising trackers
  • Fingerprinting or cross-site tracking
  • Third-party cookies of any kind

4. Third-Party Services

Our translation providers (Google Cloud, Deepgram) may set their own cookies when processing API requests on the server side. These do not affect your browser and are not accessible to you or us.

5. Your Control

Since we don't use cookies, there is nothing to opt out of. You can clear your sessionStorage at any time by closing your browser tab or clearing your browser data.
