• Name — the display name you enter when joining a call or chat room
• Language preference — the language you select for translation
• Messages — text messages you send in chat rooms (stored temporarily in memory, not in a database)
• Audio — voice data during calls is streamed for real-time translation and is not stored or recorded

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide real-time translation services
• To display your name and language to other participants
• To send your messages (translated) to other participants in the room

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sell it to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide translation:

• Google Cloud Translation API — to translate text between languages
• Google Cloud Text-to-Speech — to generate spoken translations
• Deepgram — to convert speech to text

These services process your data according to their own privacy policies. We only send the minimum data required for translation.

4. Data Retention

• Voice calls — audio is streamed in real-time and never stored
• Chat messages — stored in server memory only while the room is active. Deleted when the room closes (max 24 hours)
• No database — we do not use a persistent database. All data exists only in memory

5. No Account Required

VoiceBridge does not require registration or an account. We do not collect email addresses, passwords, or personal identification information. The only information you provide is a display name and language preference.

6. Cookies

VoiceBridge uses sessionStorage (not cookies) to remember your name and language preference during your browser session. This data is automatically cleared when you close the browser tab. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics.

7. Your Rights

Since we do not store personal data persistently, there is no data to delete or export. If you have concerns about your data, contact us and we will assist you.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

9. Operating Entity

This service is operated by Vulovic Labs, LLC, a company registered in Delaware, USA.
